Position Title: Sr Game Designer

Become a foundational part of an ambitious, respectful and diverse team as we are looking for a Player Experience Lead to join our team.

As the 3C's (Combat, Controls, Camera) Experience Lead, you will oversee the consistency, responsiveness and quality of the moment to moment gameplay. The 3C's Experience Lead will shape the systems and mechanics that are the foundation of the player experience, and then set a clear plan of action to see them through. You will advocate for the input of all team members and champion accessibility for our diverse players, providing everyone with an excellent experience as their inputs and intentions are represented in game.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the VP of Creative you will work with team leadership to establish the player experience and plan out the development roadmap, establishing and executing achievable plans based on an understanding of the creative goals, technical limitations, and production capacity.
  • Be the advocate for the team, knowing the strengths of all members and using that knowledge to bring out the best in them.
  • Promote our players, with an emphasis on accessibility and inclusivity, to support a high-quality experience for everyone.
  • Promote a culture of creative ownership, candid feedback and a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a leadership capacity (Design, Art/Animation or Engineering) on a game development team.
  • Experience with modern AAA game development and best practices.
  • A compassionate communicator who understands many aspects of game development and can unite a diverse team behind a vision.
