Position Title: Sr Community Engagement Strategist

Social Media Manager | Action-Adventure Games

 

The Social Manager oversees our interactions with our players through implementing content strategies on our social media channels across a number of platforms.

 Key Accountabilities

  • Key contributor global social media strategy for action-adventure titles in the EA Games catalog.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other managers across the Communications team, MarComm, Brand, and game teams to ensure succinct execution of tactics/campaign beats.
  • Ideate & manage content development for deployment on social media channels supporting EA Games..



Role Accountabilities

 

  • Develop, launch and manage new campaigns across action-adventure EA Games titles, including Dead Space.
  • Manage and work directly with third-party agencies to develop engaging multimedia content across multiple platforms.
  • Track content development team requests and brief cross-functional partners on social content needs.
  • Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms that we partner with to create content.
  • Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions, when needed.
  • Assist in monitoring & reporting social media platform performance using third-party toolsets.
  • Assist in research and evaluate the latest trends in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity.
  • Analyze competitor activity using social listening tools.
  • Assist in managing the budget for social media activities.



Requirements 

 

  • 3+ years as a social media manager
  • Experience developing creative and engaging social media strategies
  • Strong writing experience and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using social scheduling tools such as Sprout and Airtable 
  • Multitasking experience to track content development asks & brief cross-functional partners on social content needs
  • Ability to encourage collaboration across teams and departments
  • Assist in delegating and prioritizing necessary tasks across our team
  • Continuously learn and grow within the space
  • Experience and knowledge of EA’s action-adventure games, including Dead Space.
