We're looking for a Technical Art Intern to join the Apex Legends team for our Fall 2022 internship program. We are only considering students who will be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program and are slated to graduate in Spring or Fall of 2023.

What You'll Do…

• Rig and skin in game assets: Characters, Weapons, Weapon Charms
• Learn and leverage our proprietary rigging tools
• Work with the art teams
• Write tools to help speed up artist workflows
• Learn the ins and outs of our engine and how to diagnose issues

Required Qualifications...

• Currently enrolled in a college, university degree program
• Available to work full-time hours (40hrs per week) remotely due to COVID-19 restrictions
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must provide portfolio of work demonstrating basic rigging and custom tools
• Basic modeling skills in Maya
• Understanding of basic game logic

• Scripting or programming examples (Python, MEL, C#, C++) Not all are required but if you know more than one that is a bonus.

Requirements:

Must be available for a full-time paid internship in the Fall of 2022 (September 6th - December 2nd). We are only considering students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the Fall of 2022, slated to graduate no earlier than Spring or Fall of 2023. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US on a fulltime basis during the entirety of the internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
