Director, Security Program & Product Management

EA Security 

The EA Security team protects EA by reducing our exposure to security risks by raising awareness and providing a measured, proportionate set of security and risk management controls, services and solutions. This department also ensures that EA is meeting required security standards as defined by a variety of different regulatory bodies.

Want to be in the center of all things security? The Security Product, Program, and Project Management (SP3) team is the beating heart of EA Security. You will lead the SP3 teams, reporting to the Director of Security & Anti-Cheat Engineering. You and your teams will manage a wide array of portfolios from anti-cheat to application security to vulnerability management and incident response. You will work with stakeholders across EA's business to execute on security initiatives, protect EA's games and players, and to drive adoption of security products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and execute security engagement and planning strategy with security partners
  • Identify and resolve potential resourcing, technology, and process gaps related to security efforts
  • Provide clear and concise program reporting to security leaders to facilitate transparent risk and issue discussion and quick decision making
  • Develop and integrate processes and tooling to support Security Development Lifecycle efforts
  • Oversee partner and security engineering expectations and deliverables
  • Develop security KPIs through partnering with engineering teams
  • Implement and oversee Product Security Response processes and methodologies
  • Implement and oversee a security engineering training curriculum
  • Ensure that security risks are addressed before release
  • Build durable and accountable relationships within development & engineering teams
  • Understand partner team development and engineering capabilities to influence secure design, development and deployment considerations
  • Partner with CTO staff to grow security ownership across the company
  • Lead a diverse security program engagement and management team to work with game, platform, and security engineering teams
  • Balance the pressures of a busy project environment with the need for a fun, productive group and environment
  • Provide oversight to security program managers including operational methodology and process adherence
  • Develop new capabilities within the team by trying creative ideas

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant professional experience
  • 10+ years of security engineering and/or security program experience
  • Excellent program management skills with the ability to break down and prioritize complex security engineering challenges
  • Experience leading global programs with multiple partners
  • Presentation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills
  • Experience defining and implementing SDL practices and methodologies
  • Experience with security risk evaluation methodologies
  • Experience briefing executive leadership on security risks and identifying a path to resolution
  • Experience working with, or familiarity with, the external security research community
  • Experience developing individuals and teams
  • Must be a catalyst for change and willing to push organizational norms and established practices for the greater good of EA and our players
