We're looking for a Narrative Design Intern to join the Star Wars team. We are only considering students who will be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in the summer of 2022 and are slated to graduate in Fall of 2022 or Spring of 2023.
What You’ll Do…
- Work with the Narrative team to determine dialogue systems, events, rules and provide supplemental writing for the game's characters in combat.
- Time animation gestures and add polish to in-game conversations.
- Help develop compelling, engaging, and immersive dialogue and narrative system experiences.
- Contribute to the consistency of character realization and development.
- Work with the Narrative Director, Dialogue Designer Lead, and Technical Narrative Lead to provide feedback during play sessions.
- Currently enrolled in a college, university degree program
- Available to work full-time hours for 10-12 weeks remotely due to COVID-19 restrictions
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Experience with Unreal Engine and Blueprints Visual Scripting system or equivalent.
- Ability to write, communicate and maintain design documentation.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to articulate feedback and apply notes from multiple sources.
- Have a passion for interactive storytelling.
