Position Title: Advanced Analyst

EAX Analytics is looking for an advanced senior analyst to join our team. You will work closely with teams across EA to evaluate the subscription offerings and find opportunities for growth. Reporting to a Manager of Analytics, you will use your skills to navigate ambiguous problems, determine causes and constraints, translate qualitative/quantitative data into applicable insight, and create recommendations to steer strategy. 

Your responsibilities and contributions as an Advanced Senior Data Analyst:

  • Evaluate existing partnerships and opportunities, special offers and member benefits related to the subscription service and ensure competitive positioning
  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis and data mining to understand subscriber experience.
  • Partner with other teams to surface new and diverse product and business opportunities that are reinforced with data-driven design.
  • Be an expert for quantitative methodology, implementation and application; assist junior analysts to ensure quality, clarity, and development of their analytics skills.
  • Approach analyses with structured and strategic thinking anchored in the partners needs to create a well thought out plan.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience applying quantitative/statistical methods to produce insights from data
  • A masters degree or Ph.D in a technical field (e.g. Data Science, Statistics, mathematics, engineering, or economics)
  • Proficient in SQL and a statistical analysis tool (such as R or Python)
  • Knowledge and prior business application of quantitative methodologies such as regression modelling, decision trees, cluster analysis, factor analysis, conjoint analysis
  • Experience with data visualization software packages, e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau
  • Experience presenting technical findings to audiences with varying background
