EA Create Capture is a highly engaged content creation team within EA Studios. Our content is generated through different systems encompassing performance capture, facial animation, volumetric capture, head and body scanning for Electronic Arts (EA) video games. What a Capture Producer does:

As a member of the Development Director job family at EA, Capture Producers are the keepers of the project schedule and help move the game team from one project phase to the next while ensuring a focus on quality, collaboration and communication.

They are ‘what good looks like’ when it comes to soft skills. They must partner closely with stakeholders from the game team that span multiple disciplines to ensure that they are managing the project on time, to quality, and within budget.

Producers report to the Head of Production at EA Create Capture. The Capture Producers are experienced in live production, animation and post-production; often achieved through a career in video game project management, film, television, sound, post or theater production offices. They sometimes travel for work.

To be a successful candidate for this role, you need to be great at the following:

Live Production Abilities:

  • Adept at handling a changing production environment, often in the moment, making decisions quickly while balancing risk, budget, schedule and quality.
  • Have experience in a high-tech environment, that may have been combined with a live production environment.
  • Has on-set experience and exemplary example for on-set etiquette
  • Experienced knowledge of production principles and work involved to produce live performance sessions.
  • Has planned complex travel and logistics for both people and equipment.
  • Organized and wrangled performer / model casting, performer bookings, cast needs on-set, and complete performer agreements / payroll paperwork.
  • Willing and able to travel.

Leadership Abilities:

  • Build, direct and inspire a team; identify resourcing needs, nurture and recognize developmental potential within
  • Develop relationships with partners, internal and external, that deliver exceptional production experiences.
  • Provide line management and mentorship to team members across disciplines and outside your core team.
  • Maintain regular reviews with development partners, highlighting opportunities, project challenges and it’s dependencies.

 

Project Management Abilities:

  • Experienced a workplace with custom tools/software
  • Establish an overall project schedule based on the individual task estimates for production.
  • Determine the resource requirements to complete the tasks.
  • Establish a project budget,identify task requirements, and delegate tasks to team resources.
  • Project monitoring and control mechanisms that maximize value contributions.

Requirements:

  • 5 years ’ entertainment or video game production management experience.
  • University Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in different project management methodologies
