Responsibilities

 

• Your main mission is to ensure fair and balanced experiences for our players.
• Implement and experiment on new matchmaking algorithm working with our researcher community
• Collaborate with designers and data analysts to ensure a healthy live service
  Mentor engineers and designers on matchmaking constraints and problem space
• Optimize and architect robust backend services

 

 

Requirements

• Able to communicate and collaborate with developers of all technical skill levels and disciplines
• Experience working with matchmaking
• A solid understanding of networking concepts and architecture (latency, UDP, datacenters )

 

Pluses

• CS Degree Preferred
• Experience with a game engine
• Scripting experience (Squirrel Scripting / LUA / PHP)
• Able to read scientific publication
• Passionate about Apex Legends / Competitive Gaming
