The EA Security team protects EA by reducing our exposure to security risks by raising awareness and providing a measured, proportionate set of security and risk management controls, services and solutions. This department also ensures that EA is meeting required security standards as defined by a variety of different regulatory bodies.

The hiring team, Security Engineering, is an engineering and architecture team that focuses on building security products. Our mission is to deliver maximum value to the business by balancing security and experience, helping our partners develop the world's best games.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Security Engineering, you will lead a scrum team of 5-8 people, facilitating all milestone meetings, curating sprint goals, and tracking execution. Our scrum team is well-defined, and the team has been iteratively improving its execution methods for more than two years. Some examples of the products we build are privileged identity bastions, weak password auditing, and cloud security enclave. The team also performs full-stack reviews on common workflows and applications used to do business, identifying risks, and recommending mitigations.

Job Duties

  • Scrum master, facilitating daily calls reviewing progress towards goals and discussing blockers
  • Recommend iterative improvements to the team execution processes
  • Manage scrum backlog
  • Agile coaching of resources, providing guidance on how to apply Agile practices to our work
  • Contribute content towards monthly newsletters highlighting team progress
  • Track progress towards key deliverables sprint-to-sprint

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Agile Coaching or Scrum Master role
  • Minimum 1 year experience using Jira as a planning tool
  • Experience helping resources understand and correctly apply Agile scrum
  • Understand the product owner role and modern product delivery methods
  • Experience with Agile concepts, PMI-ACP certified
  • Understand scrum-of-scrums
  • Familiarity with infrastructure, network, and cloud technologies
  • Familiarity with security engineering or assessment work
