Position Title: Sr. Business Development Manager

External Description:

The Senior Account Manager, Business Development  will work directly with strategic platform partners to ensure growth and execution of EA partnerships. Reporting to the Sr Director of Business Development, this individual will own the day to day platform accounts and be responsible for execution of partner distribution and partner marketing programs with large commercial and media objectives. This role requires experience in leveraging third party relationships and alliances by an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, who can drive measurable results with focus across gaming platforms, and a high potential to expand into a global role. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day strategic platforms partner accounts for the EA Business Development team
  • Support and execute large distribution and marketing deals, with strategic platform partners in NA 
  • Own strategic partnership opportunities, from ideation to negotiation to implementation  
  • Deliver post-mortems where you collect, analyze, and report success of EA partnerships using key quantitative and qualitative metrics 
  • Lead regular meetings with top platform partners and drive creation and resolution of action items
  • Build cross-functional relationships with commercial, marketing, finance, technical, and legal teams
  • Be the primary Business Development point of contact between international Studio teams and platform partners 
  • Effectively track ongoing partnerships and negotiations for the BD team, across all accounts 
  • Advocate for strategic partner agreements, policies, and partnerships 
  • Willingness to travel regularly 

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including demonstrable experience leading successful negotiations
  • Ability to successfully communicate with and influence internal and external stakeholders (marketing, product, design, operations, ecommerce) 
  • Operate within highly matrixed global organizations and to lead without formal authority
  • Highly organized, with an ability to prioritize multiple projects and work around tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Gaming experience and passion is a plus 

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ work experience. 5+ years’ experience in an account management role 
  • BA/BS degree
  • MBA is a plus
