Quality Analyst - User Experience (Contract)

Motive QA (Montreal) is looking for a Quality Analyst passionate about UX Design and creating amazing Player experiences to join us on our upcoming Dead Space project.

As a Quality Analyst for User Experience, you will help us enhance the player experience by providing qualitative feedback to represent our players.

Responsibilities

  • You will help organize test scheduling and provide coverage analysis to inform our testing strategy
  • You will use industry knowledge and project experience to provide qualitative feedback on design to be the "eyes" of our players
  • You will work with Management team to identify and escalate risk to Project Delivery and Quality
  • You will develop working relationship with senior members of Development, Production and Design teams to promote a higher quality user experience
  • You will report to the QA Development manager and work cross-discipline with developers and partner teams

Who you are:

  • Excited to explore and learn, who enjoys working in a team-focused environment
  • Knowledge of Game Engines such as Unity or Unreal
  • 2+ years of applicable work experience working in an embedded, integrated product team
  • Experience working in a live service development model (i.e. sprints, continuous development)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with UX Design
  • Familiarity with Game Engines (Unity, Unreal)
  • In-depth knowledge of AAA software/game development, including both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
