EA Security

The EA Security team protects EA by reducing our exposure to security risks by raising awareness and providing a measured, proportionate set of security and risk management controls, services and solutions. This department also ensures that EA is meeting required security standards as defined by a variety of different regulatory bodies.

The Role

You will collaborate with partners in EA Security and other organizations to design, develop and implement security solutions designed to protect EA's cloud environment. This role requires experience with the use of cloud-provider-native and 3rd party tools to secure cloud workloads and environments, with a focus on the identification and remediation of security vulnerabilities. This role reports to the Principal Architect for EA Enterprise Security.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and maintain a vulnerability detection and management solution EA's cloud environment.
  • Identify and prioritize discoveries from the vulnerability management solution
  • Work with engineering, support and application development partners to fix discovered vulnerabilities
  • Identify root cause and measures necessary to prevent recurrence of identified vulnerabilities
  • Create developer and user guidance to secure cloud environments and workloads
  • Track engagements with partner teams and remediation progress

Qualifications:

  • Experience with security best practices for services deployed using AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Control
  • Experience with Cloud Workload inspection (CSPM) and configuration detection tools
  • Familiarity with modern authentication protocols
  • Familiarity with CIS/NIST cloud security standards and applicability
  • Experience working in an enterprise environment with a high degree of technological diversity
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a security engineer role
