Our teams are comprised of artists, engineers, technicians, designers, and development directors. Worldwide, we combine our teams to form a global group of extraordinary individuals fueled by imagination and a unified passion for creating amazing visuals, sound, and experiences. We are a diverse team, unified through collaboration, culture, and craft.

We are looking for an accomplished and experienced Associate Art Director to join our FIFA Art Team.

The Associate Art Director will work under the guidance of the Senior Art Director and in partnership with FIFA's Production and Design teams to manage the visual quality, direction, and art development of some of FIFA's essential visual features.

We ask that you have visual direction skills that span multiple disciplines and can provide clarity to your art team, empowering them to deliver their best work. You will work with external concept art teams and will translate those concepts into clear, compelling in-game features. You will be supported with high-level vision and mentorship from the Senior Art Director, with the opportunity to provide regular feedback on your experience and suggest changes or improvements. You will guide alignment with the Senior Art Director, and communicate decisions to your development partners. You will work with a variety of art capabilities including environments, characters, animation, lighting, and vfx.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct involvement with visual feature planning and creative vision for FIFA
  • Represent the development team as an advocate for visual feature goals and quality standards when working with partner artists and art tech groups

  • Contribute to the Style and Tone documentation for your feature areas
  • Oversee AAA art creation workflows and suggest improvements when needed

Desired Skills:

  • Expertise in at least one 3D domain (environments, characters, lighting, visual effects, concept art) and proficiency or developing proficiency in the others
  • Passion, organization, and enthusiasm
  • An inclusive leadership mindset
  • Experience as an Associate Art Director, Art Lead, or Senior Artist in digital media, familiar with setting and giving direction across multiple art disciplines
  • Experience with formal review processes and stakeholder alignment
