Position Title: Software Engineer III

Full-Stack Web Engineer

Ripple Effect, an evolution of Battlefield's DICE LA, is a Los Angeles-based game studio on a mission to build community-first experiences through continuous innovation and boundary breaking technology.

We are looking for an engineer like you who can build UI/UX on multiple platforms, delivering exceptional user experiences.  You will work creatively with a team of software engineers, designers and producers, to build features from concept to a production environment to reach millions of players.  You will use TypeScript and React as the main tool for building UI/UX on multiple platforms (desktop browser, mobile, in-game PC and console).  You will write, test, benchmark and debug solid and maintainable UI code that performs at 60 FPS.

 

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Knowledge and experience in TypeScript and React
• Experience with mobile first development and responsive design
• Experience in web markup and layout (HTML5/CSS)
• Understand full service stack, from UI in the front-end to databases in the back-end
• Great communication skills that supports a collaborative working environment
