Overview:

We are looking for someone with a strong background in tools development to come and work with some of the industry's best talent, on-site or remote. If you love to tussle with practical software problem-solving and create tangible, easy-to-use solutions that the whole team will thank you for, you'll fit right in.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with digital content creators across the team to develop and support complex technical tools that enhance people's creativity and productivity and enable them to deliver playable environments that amaze our players
  • Build or extend solutions to help solve the development and testing challenges due to the ever-growing size and complexity of AAA titles
  • Write performant code to extend Unreal Editor and other internal systems
  • Create user interfaces to empower the team to work with content intuitively
  • Document and test process and tooling to accelerate ease of use and simplify future maintenance of our technology
  • Monitor user satisfaction, escalate any improvement opportunities and evaluate or debug technical support requests
  • Support an increased adoption of automation and tools within game teams.
  • Aid in the identification of and perform requirements gathering for new tools

Qualifications:

  • Proven problem-solving, coding, debugging, diagnosis and optimization skills
  • Experience working in a large codebase with multiple simultaneous development branches, using tools like Perforce, Git, Visual Studio, or Rider
  • 2 or more years experience on shipped game titles or other large-scale projects delivered to end-users
  • Strong C++ skills, and scripting language experience (e.g. C#, Python, Powershell)
  • Exposure to Unreal Engine, Unreal Editor and related tools, Digital Content Creation SDKs (Max, Maya, Photoshop)
