The Challenge Ahead:

The Project Manager will be a part of the Studio Data and Insights (SDI) team stationed in the greater Los Angeles area. You will work directly with Respawn and Ripple Effect Analytics teams to bring increased visibility, credibility, and communication on the team's workload and project development.

What a Project Manager does at EA:

You will work with our Analytics leads working on multiple studio projects to help prioritize work and aid in communications with our partners including Game Design, Code / Script, Network Engineering, Product Management, Brand Management, Marketing, Finance and supporting data teams. As part of the Game Development Framework, you will get experience balancing analytics workloads that range from reactive requests through longer term R&D projects spread over many sprints.

As part of the Studio Data and Insights team, you will work with peers from all over the world and from several program management teams. As part of the broader EA collective, you will get experience handling multiple team dependencies while building credibility between Analytics and Studio leadership.

The next great Project Manager has:

  • 5+ years working as a project manager
  • 3+ years working in a Software Development industry
  • Extreme comfortability working in work tracking tools (e.g. JIRA or JASS)
  • Experience managing both internal and external teams
  • Various negotiation and conflict resolution tools in your toolbelt
  • Comfortable talking across and presenting to all levels of an organization
  • Effective and consistent sprint reporting to partners
  • Keen ability to always know the status of your projects and quickly visualize
  • Passionate about managing analytics / data teams
