Associate Data Analyst - EA Romania

As an Associate Data Analyst within EA Studios Europe Quality Verification & Standards Analytics team, you will be someone who is adept at both thinking strategically about difficult business problems and conducting your own analysis to arrive at data-driven conclusions. If you have a track record of framing up big problems and driving to actionable insights, in addition to a serious passion to help EA build the best games on the planet, this role is custom-built for you.

What an Associate Data Analyst does at EA:

  • Works closely with teams across EASE QV to drive actionable insights that help produce best-in-class games and a delighted gamer base
  • Gathers business requirements for scheduled and ad hoc reporting needs by working with QV partners and system owners, understanding their questions
  • Extracts and analyzes very large sets of data using a variety of tools and identifies data integrity issues/trends
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards under supervision of a Senior Data Analyst
  • Supports in quantitative analysis, data visualization and data-mining to tell the story behind numbers and find relevant insights for partners and leadership
  • Helps to present analysis conclusions to partners in a clear and understandable way
  • Performs maintenance checks and fixes any bugs
  • Maintain documentation and data integrity standards and related policies
  • Responds to operational needs by providing ad-hoc analytical support

Our Next Associate Data Analyst needs:

  • Experience
  • Data analysis experience; preferred experience from e-commerce, social networking or gaming industry
  • Experience doing quantitative / predictive analysis

Tools

  • Good knowledge of data visualization software using tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Excel
  • Understands how data is stored in databases and can write fast and reusable SQL code to retrieve it

Education

  • Bachelors degree in analytics, statistics, engineering, science, business or relevant field (Knowledge of statistics e.g. multivariate regression, predictive modeling is a strong plus)
