EA Security 

The EA Security team protects EA by reducing our exposure to security risks by raising awareness and providing a measured, proportionate set of security and risk management controls, services and solutions. This department also ensures that EA is meeting required security standards as defined by a variety of different regulatory bodies.

We are looking for a Senior Security Software Development Manager to secure EA's games for our players. The Secure Product Engineering & Anti-Cheat Response organization ensures that all EA products are developed with security and gameplay integrity as a top priority. As the leader of the Security Automation team, you will report to the Director of Secure Product Engineering & Anti-Cheat Response.

With your leadership, your team will make the impossible a simple, tangible, and testable reality. You will partner with security professionals and development teams across EA to build and deploy security tooling and automation frameworks that enable us to discover and remediate security risks at scale.

You have experience leading teams of software and security engineers and build successful security tooling from the ground up. You work with partners across the business, aligning expectations and driving a cohesive vision through to delivery. You can translate between business and technical concepts and have excellent verbal and written English skills. You promote an inclusive and productive team culture and support professional development at the individual and team levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to determine the effectiveness of the Security Automation program.
  • Plan quarterly roadmaps, make hard trade-offs and communicate them well.
  • Identify and assess security tooling opportunities that support the secure development lifecycle workflow.
  • Build connections across the business and through these relationships increase EA's security posture.
  • Support application security review workflows and CI/CD pipeline integration to identify and fix vulnerabilities affecting EA's products.
  • Be the architect and subject matter expert for EA Security's data, metrics, and telemetry infrastructure.
  • Be an attractor of and develop remarkable technical talent.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of work experience leading automation and tool development teams.
  • 5+ years of experience working with product security teams to remediate threats and vulnerabilities.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with security threat classification models and methodologies.
  • 2+ years of experience building security reporting and visualization tools and infrastructure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or similar, or equivalent industry experience.
