Role

As Lead Performance Product Manager, you will oversee the strategic direction of Apex Mobile's economy. You will work with a team of product managers and analysts to create a strategic vision to.

You will report to the Director of Product for Performance and will work with product and design leads to ensure that our systems provide an excellent player experience.

You have a background in operating live games and managing complex systems. You will have a direct impact on the player experience which is crucial to the product's success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a comprehensive strategy for the economy to maximize lifetime player value.
  • Lead the requirements that inform the design of economic features.
  • Manage a team of product managers accountable for modeling and designing the economy and prioritizing projects the team will focus on.
  • Work with systems designers to create a roadmap for the economy.
  • Develop forecasts for the product in collaboration with analytics.
  • Improve KPIs and influence through data-informed decisions.
  • Analyze the performance of the economy to inform strategic.

Requirements

  • Experienced at promoting product vision, driving team-wide and studio-wide cross discipline agreement and promoting the vision to essential partners.
  • Bachelor's Degree required - the desired focus of studies in Economics, Statistics, Business, Math, or Computer Science.
  • Solid project management skills and ability to present work to executive staff.
  • Drive game Indicators through economy or system design.
  • Experience with mobile, free-to-play games, systems and economies.
  • Experience managing high performing teams.

  • Graduate degree in quantitative or business disciplines.
  • Fluency in statistical modeling and modeling tools. (E.g. Spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Monte Carlo)
  • Experience working with off-shore development teams.
