Motive Montreal is looking for an experienced Narrative Development Manager to join us in the early stages of an exciting new project where story plays a central role. The Development Manager will report to the Development Director, they will collaborate direclty with the creative leadership and external partners to provide rich story-driven content. As a Development Manager, you will ensure that project deliverables are on time, to quality, and within budget.

Responsibilities :

 

  • Develop working relationships with immediate team and other external partner teams that have dependencies or an impact on the completion of the project.
  • Communicate with the project team and coordinate requirements with external partners.
  • Provide updates to department leadership and escalating issues and concerns.
  • Mitigate risk for assigned scope whilst partnering with our production team, to manage scope and quality.
  • Work with department leadership in the creation of written status/risk reports for the project.
  • Manage a project budget, determine task requirements, and assign tasks to team resources.

 

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years narrative project management
  • Experience with narrative pipeline and external team requirements (Pcap, Mocap)
  • Education requirement University degree Bachelors or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in different project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
