Position Title: Associate Game Designer

Associate Game Designer (12-month contract)

Electronic Arts’ Firemonkeys Studio in Melbourne, Australia is highly regarded throughout the industry as a leading mobile game studio.  We release new meaningful updates on a regular basis for games such as Real Racing 3, The Sims FreePlay, Need for Speed, and The Sims Mobile.

We are looking for a highly talented and dedicated Associate Game Designer (12-month contract) to help design and implement new content for Real Racing 3. As an Associate Game Designer, you’ll be an integral member of the team, shaping our games to satisfy both dedicated and casual players, driving commercial success on a free-to-play business model. You will work with a collaborative team and report to the Design Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine content to maintain our successful live service roadmap
  • Create innovative and engaging racing content, including stories, quest goals, and tuning
  • Maintain accurate documentation of design solutions
  • Work with development team to ensure live event content is delivered to the highest quality
  • Tune content at appropriate levels for all our players
  • Remain current on industry design trends

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in game design
  • Experience in mobile game design and live service
  • Demonstrable content creation skills
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in relevant field
