Position Title: Software Engineer II

Software Engineer - 12-month Contract

Electronic Arts' Firemonkeys Studio in Melbourne is regarded throughout the industry as a leader in delivering high-quality, engaging games on iOS and Android. We release new meaningful updates on a regular basis for our live mobile games such as Real Racing 3, The Sims FreePlay, Need for Speed, and The Sims Mobile

We are looking for dedicated Software Engineers/Programmers to join us in developing AAA mobile games. You will work with other creative developers and report to a lead engineer. We have multiple roles available for this position! You will report to the Studio Technical Director at Firemonkeys Studio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programming games using C++
  • You will write and implement tools for the creation of mobile device applications using C#

Programming within all areas of game development, including:

  • Math and 3D graphics
  • Game engines
  • User interface
  • Special effects
  • SDK

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of experience in Software Engineering
  • C++ skills are a must-have for this role
  • You will have worked with and extend existing code
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work/portfolio experience
  • Programming experience in the games industry will be highly valued
