External Description:

We are looking for a Senior Concept Artist for Apex Legends Mobile. This is a 12 month contract. You will report to our Art Director.

Who you are:

The Senior Concept Artist is an important role to the success of our game. You will help establish and convey the Art Director's vision through a wide array of concept art. You will conceptualize organic and inorganic characters, environments and set pieces, storyboards, and vfx that players will engage with all across our game universe. You will work with the other internal art disciplines, Outsourcing, and Marketing to achieve compelling environments and characters.

• You will visualize environments, characters, vehicles, color schemes, seasonal themes and the overall mood and feel of the game. You are comfortable creating rough sketches and happy to talk to our team and partners about the ideas in them.
• The images you create should inspire our team or help them visualize ideas.

Requirements:

• You have 5+ years experience ad can produce a broad spectrum of concept work needed in our studio, everything from quick thumbnails through to final illustrations and renders- with a primary focus on concepting.
• Understanding of color theory, value structure, and lighting fundamentals with an application to both character and environment concept art.
• Be as comfortable creating characters as you are painting environments.
• Work with other Art Directors, Production Teams, Concept Artists and Content Leads from both outsourcing studios and external development partners.
