As a Software Engineer on our Operations team you'll help maintain our core services and infrastructure that support all the major online services for Apex Legends.  Help work with our designers and content creators to drive innovation in the online space and deliver fantastic new opportunities to our players, as well as deliver rock solid performance.   You'll get to solve hard technical problems and work on uniquely massive scaled infrastructure opportunities!

Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-call rotation to support Apex Legends
  • Write code to support Apex Legend’s online infrastructure
  • Work with designers and other engineers to gather requirements and build microservices, while acting as a technical feature owner
  • Help write and maintain technical best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of programming experience in PHP/Lua or similar language
  • Experience operation/maintaining highly available web services
  • Experience building scalable, maintainable systems
  • Efficient communicator able to work well in a remote environment
  • Experience working with cloud services such as AWS
  • Prior NoSQL experience (Redis preferred)

  • Prior Games Experience
