As a Senior AI Engineer you will be working with our gameplay team to improve and rework our AI systems to help improve workflow for designers, animators, and audio artists. As well as helping to create new compelling AI in the Apex universe.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain gameplay systems in C/C++.
• Work closely with the design and content teams to build world class AI characters and interactions for Apex Legends.
• Contribute to AI infrastructure/technology.
• Proactively identify and deal with issues.
• Work on a game with fast, responsive controls, and fluid gameplay.

Requirements

• Passion for making and playing games.
• Solid C/C++ skills. 2+ years of experience.
• At least 1 shipped title working as an AI engineer or working on AI systems.
• Excellent math skills with an emphasis on 3D math.
• Experience with large code bases and optimizing code, data, and bandwidth to improve both memory consumption and execution speed.
• Console programming experience on a multiplayer game.

Nice to Have

• CS or Comp Eng degree preferred.
• Networking experience
• Shipped at least one AAA title
• Prior professional experience as an engineer on a game team.
