Position Title: Sr Audio Artist I

EA Create Audio is an award-winning and diverse team, unified through collaboration, culture and craft. We produce audio for numerous AAA games from multiple studio locations worldwide.

Create Audio is looking for an experienced Speech Artist who will embrace our inclusive culture and share their hard-earned expertise to create an incredible experience for our players. You will work within the Create Audio team and will work with all other aspects of game development to push the quality bar for game audio. Our new team member will be passionate about the Apex universe, with a talent for creating immersive worlds and competitive gaming feedback. Responsibilities

• Design and implement speech and VO to immerse the player into the game's world.
• Participate in casting, recording, and directing talent.
• Assist in defining and following a schedule and submit final audio files on or before required deadlines.
• Edit and implement audio assets directly in our audio tools and game engine (Miles and Source).
• Work with Design, Animation, and VFX to ensure that audio matches the vision of the game.
• Partner with leadership to establish, and re-evaluate budget as the project progresses. Deliver the audio on budget as defined by Create Audio and the game team.
• Help onboard new team members.
• Troubleshoot and help fix audio bugs.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years game/audio experience.
• Experience in ADR, Voice Direction and Localization.
• Dialogue editing experience and strong logic skills.
• Knowledge of spreadsheet/database software, such as MS Excel.
• Organizational skills; library asset management experience.
• Expert knowledge of modern audio creation equipment, software and recording techniques, with a high level of proficiency in at least one DAW.
• Solid knowledge of PC and console audio hardware.
• A positive communicator who excels as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with a solution-oriented attitude.
• Strong artistic and creative sensibilities.
• Good technical thinker.
