As a Character Artist, you will work as part of the experienced Apex External Development team. You will have a chance to work with a vast variety and volume of seasonal content for Apex Legends as you finalize and help integrate all Character assets into the game engine. Reporting to the team DM and guided by the OS Art lead, you will ensure content delivered by our external creative teams meets all technical expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Finalize content to ensure quality requirements are met per schedule
• Integrate external character asset content into the game engine
• Regular communication with Art Leads
• Participate in relevant art review meetings
• Work with and support the OS Art Team to understand the content vision, direction, and quality expectations

Qualifications:

• Intermediate artist with 2 or more years 3D production experience in Character asset work
• Understanding of industry-standard 3D applications and general workflows Example: Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter - High poly, Low poly, UV and texturing practices
• Understand WGLL (What Good Looks Like) from a Respawn perspective on Art Direction and Design
• Above all, we need someone who works well with others, as this will be a very collaborative role
• Familiarity with full production from concept ideation through final modeling and integration
