What a Scrum Master Does In QVS Analytics

 

The Scrum Master is in charge of how the whole process is played out from the start all through to the end. A Scrum Master manages the scope vs capacity and timeline of the entire project, which in turn guides them to set achievable goals. Therefore, what the team delivers at the end of every sprint has the required quality and supports the larger business goal.

 

We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our growing team of data experts; to manage the processes, to guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to get the most out of self-organization and fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks;

They will work with QV and Development teams to provide sound data insights that help create quality games.

Expertize

 

You have experience in the following:

  • Comfortable guiding analysts through both technical and non-technical work, anticipating questions from partners to prepare analysts and give directions for solutions.
  • Establish and assign task from defined project goals; plan, execute, and monitor resources to deliver project.
  • Proactively mitigate risk for assigned scope.
  • Partner with stakeholders and QV leadership to manage requirements, delivery and quality.
  • Work together with the team to release the product in high quality and on time (with the highest Value)
  • Facilitates agile stand-ups efficiently and strictly;
  • Guide the team to find the right person within the organization that can help them
  • Be responsible for mentoring and coaching the team from a technical perspective
  • Achieve common understanding with the teams by a clear communication and definition of the items in the Product Backlog: Breakdown feature requirements to clear user stories and acceptance criteria; Insure demos in relevant milestones
  • In charge of the sprint timeline and scrum product methodologies
  • Work together with the team to release the product in high quality and on time (with the highest Value)

 

Project Management

·       Establish an overall project schedule based on the individual task estimates.

·       Determine the resource requirements to meet the task requirements.

·       Establish a project budget, determine task dependencies , and assign tasks to team resources

·       Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.

·       Report and document progress; communicate with the team, partners and management.

 

Requirements

  • Experienced in a Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team
  • Experience in different project management methodologies; ideally Scrum Master Certified.
  • Planned and managed numerous processes and projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Agile approaches – Kanban, Scrum, XP, etc.
  • Experience using data to contribute to product quality and project efficiency; effective at understanding KPIs to support the business needs .
  • Work in an environment that values collaboration.
  • Fluent in English.

 

You will report to the Quality Verification & Standards Analytics Manager.
