In the EA Create Audio team, creative and technical audio experts create voice recording and editing, in-game commentary and voice overs, sound effects, music production and composition, scores and themes. From UI and menus to vehicles, weapons, environments, characters and beyond.

EA Create Audio is an award-winning audio team creating audio assets for titles within EA STUDIOS. Through uniting our creative talents and technical expertise, EA Create Audio is driving industry-leading audio through partnership, expertise, innovation and uncompromising quality.

Role Overview 

Reporting to the Audio Development Manager, we are looking for an experienced Audio Artist who can make an immediate contribution to all aspects of audio speech development within the EA Create Audio team. You can own audio specific project(s), with the goal of creating a quality audio experience. You have some post production experience and experience in all phases of speech or VO production.

Key Responsibilities

Audio Artists focused on Speech, will help build commentary and VO systems and participate in problem-solving throughout all stages of production. Working with the EA Create Audio team, you have skills in the design and editing of quality VO content and advanced asset management. Programmatic scripting skills are very important for this role. You will have a passion for game audio design and problem solving skills. Specific tasks include:

  • Submit finalized audio assets through Perforce (P4V) on or before required deadlines.
  • Tune commentary playback elements using scripting languages. (Similar to Python/Lua/JavaScript)
  • Design, editing and organizing in-game VO assets per naming convention protocols.

Required Experience

  • 1+ years game audio experience or similar
  • Knowledgeable in MS Excel, MS Access/SQL preferred
  • Expert in at least one DAW (Pro Tools or Reaper preferred)Solid experience using audio development tools, technology, and pipelines. (e.g. Wwise/Fmod/Unreal/Unity)
