This is an operations IN marketing role.  looking for either a high level project manager, planner, executive assistant, or operations managers that works in marketing or around a marketing groups

The Challenge Ahead

We are seeking an EA SPORTS Brand Marketing Operations Manager to assist with the day-to-day support of our EA SPORTS Brand VP in Orlando, FL and leadership team, spanning North America to Europe. The EA SPORTS Brand team partners closely with our development studio to represent the voice of the player. From ideation through to live service, we architect the multi-year brand strategy and orchestrate global marketing campaigns in service of our products and players. You’ll be involved with a very dynamic group of people who are passionate about the EA SPORTS brand and connecting with players around the world through our games. If you are organized and detail-oriented, we’d love to have you as part of our Brand team to help keep our day-to-day marketing efforts running smoothly. 

 

What a Brand Marketing Operations Manager Does At EA

Operational Support for the EA SPORTS Brand Team:

  • Partner to Brand VP and Leadership team staff with focus on planning and governance of regular forums such as staff meetings and All-Hands planning to ensure right prioritization and focus to achieve goals
  • Establishes and manages rhythm of business for EA SPORTS Brand team including weekly, monthly, and quarterly strategic planning
  • Understands key functions and projects in the department; provides monitoring and follow-through support on action items in progress
  • Identifies what’s working and what isn’t across EA SPORTS franchises within the marketing function; communicates learnings and drives solves as required
  • Establishes content sharing best practices, tools and repositories for the EA SPORTS Brand team
  • Plans and coordinates business meetings and events both onsite and at offsite venues, including calendaring, logistics, preparation of material and agendas
  • Prepares and polishes documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite required
  • Supports EA SPORTS Brand Partnerships & Athlete Relations teams with distribution of inventory and games for partners and talent, plus processing of electronic purchase orders through i-procurement

 

Cross-Functional Team Leadership:

  • Drives operational effectiveness and governance, including cross-franchise and cross-functional operational cohesion
  • Leads key cross-functional marketing touch points across global time zones, in coordination with operations leaders in adjacent marketing functions
  • Manages weekly cross-functional leadership meetings including agenda, content, speakers and notes
  • Coordinates with operations leaders and executive assistants to facilitate good communication across studio and marketing, helping to coordinate joint projects
  • Creates and maintains cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership success

 

Manages Special EA SPORTS Brand Marketing Projects:

  • Manages multiple special projects across departments and teams
  • Helps organize and motivate special project teams and workstreams
  • Monitors progress of special projects, analyzes and manages project risks

 

Steward of EA SPORTS Brand Team Culture:

  • Supports positive culture, planning and managing team activities and special recognition
  • Establishes creative solutions to team challenges
  • Serves as site leader for Marketing organization at the Tiburon studio in Orlando, FL, driving key team culture initiatives
  • Monitors team engagement and helps drive tactics in response to engagement survey results

  • A successful track record supporting Executive level for 10+ years
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-oriented individual who works independently
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, teamwork, maturity under pressure, and anticipates and resolves problems before they escalate
  • Strong time management skills, and the ability to operate and balance workload in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and assist multiple team members at the same time
