The EA Sports Mobile Team is a division of EA SPORTS which crafts high quality mobile games, focused on delivering high-quality, immersive experiences crafted to fit lifestyle of mobile gamers. EA Sports Mobile currently operates in Vancouver, British Columbia, Orlando, Florida, and Bucharest, Romania.

The Challenge Ahead

Our mobile team is looking for a Motion Graphics Designer to bring their creative visual sense to the EA Sports Mobile Team! We are looking for someone who is experienced, versatile and passionate to bridge the gap between our engineering and art teams to create stunning animations and visuals.

Your Impact at EA:

• Create mock-up animatics, following a given style and direction while iterating based on feedback
• Build animations through a pipeline from conception, integration and optimization into the product
• Create particle effect assets for use in animations
• Develop user-friendly, optimized tools, workflows and pipelines
• Estimate work while making smart trades between quality and pace
• Understand how the EA audience plays with its games/services, and make use of this knowledge in the development of amazing visuals
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure EA branded games are of high-quality

Does this Describe You?

• Professional experience with Adobe Products with a strong understanding of Photoshop, After Effects
• Motion graphics experience
• Analyze project requirements
• Technical aptitude and a cooperative/collaborative approach to teamwork
• Work in an iterative and Agile production process

 Nice to have:

• Understanding of UX principals
• 4+ years of experience in gaming 
• Experience with Haxe/Actionscript
• Experience with other Adobe Products (IE: Illustrator, InDesign etc.)
• Intermediate programming experience with C# and XML
• Game production experience on Social and Mobile platforms
• Experience with Maya and 3D modelling
• Experience working in a version control environment (Perforce)
• Familiarity with Unity
• A passion for making games!
