The Challenge Ahead:

The Digital Publishing team is looking for a passionate digital sales lead to join us and help improve commercial activities of the PSN and Nintendo accounts in Europe, Middle East and Asia. You will be part of a team leading the transition to digital through creative business models and execution. The Commercial Manager will achieve digital sales targets and ensure best-in-class promotion of EA products on the PlayStation and Nintendo Stores in Europe, Middle East and Asia.

You will evaluate all strategic opportunities to maximize EA market share on PlayStation and Nintendo by guiding digital content and launches, and managing the relationships with Sony and Nintendo.  Working with internal marketing, operations and international commercial teams, you will want to achieve top-notch player journeys across the PlayStation digital storefront experience and implement strategies to increase conversion and improve engagement.  You will report to the Global Account Director, Playstation/Nintendo, and will be an essential contributor to the broader Global Publishing Organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead EA portfolio commercial execution on the PlayStation store in Europe, Middle East and Asia contributing to/adapting and accomplishing the Global Playstation/Nintendo 3 year Global Commercial Strategy.
  • Establish pricing and promotional strategy for products across different business models
  • Oversee the full product life-cycle merchandising strategy within PSN through organic and paid channels
  • Work closely with digital merchandising teams to ensure outstanding execution of content metadata
  • Drive visibility, understanding, and support for ongoing commercial activities with all partners
  • Create business opportunity assessments to increase market share and process efficiencies
  • Build test and learn plans for new strategies to improve digital experience, value, and performance
  • Provide weekly and monthly business updates to all partners with performance reviews and upcoming plans
  • Participate in quarterly Joint Business Planning Sessions with Playstation and Nintendo to determine strategic plans and roadmaps
  • Present post-mortems on all important beats through cross-metric evaluations
  • Partner with studio and marketing teams to guide commercial messaging across all EA’s local social/community channels

 

Requirements:

  • Education: Masters or Bachelor’s degree.
  • 6-10 years of experience in e-Commerce, business analysis, online sales/marketing or related
  • In-depth understanding of the gaming industry and electronic software download channels
  • Ability of building mutually beneficial relationships with our partners
