Job Description

The Camera Artist is responsible for working with the current capture team and creative directors to build dynamic and authentic cameras to saved gameplay moments.  These shots will be used in marketing and promotional content for advertising and social media. The Camera Artist will understand that sometimes building the perfect camera for a shot may take time and repetition.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Background in animation techniques (2D, 2.5D and or 3D).
• Strong knowledge of keyframing using Graph Editor.
• Strong Cinematic eye with basic photography/film concepts such as Rule of Thirds, Golden Rules, leading the viewer's eye w/o the main action.
• In-Depth knowledge of different camera settings/lenses and when/how to use them.
• Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and features.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong observational skills.
• Flexible and team-oriented. Should have good interpersonal and follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
• Ability to work in group settings under high-pressure and tight deadlines.

Daily/Weekly tasks

• Work with the capture group and creative director to build dynamic cameras from saved gameplay moments.
• Provide realistic expectations on workload
• Reporting and communicating issues to the Capture and Cinematics team
