The Challenge Ahead:

We are building EA’s Cloud Gaming system to run at scale. You'll have the opportunity to build sophisticated system capabilities focusing on GPU aspects. Your day-to-day job will have a direct impact on performance, quality, and the gameplay experience. You will deal with technology challenges which are at the front of the industry.

What a Senior Software Engineer does within EADP Cloud Gaming Division at EA:

As a Sr. Software Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to address complex GPU related challenges related to the games. You will analyze and address games performance issues and find innovative solutions to overcome them as well as introduce new technologies to the Cloud Gaming service. You will work closely with our partners on the next generation of hardware and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop features and infrastructure for the Cloud Gaming service
• Address games performance challenges and develop innovative solutions
• Design, develop, and execute integration with new protocols, drivers, and HW

Required Skills / experience

• B.Sc. in Computer Science
• Over 5 years’ experience as software developer with the following expertise:

• C++ or C#
• DX9/11/12
• GPUs
• Windows APIs

• Deep experience with:

• Application development with GPUs (rendering)
• Code optimization
• Virtual memory and multithreaded development
• Cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.) (preferred)

• Other:

• Excellent computer engineering and architectural skills
• Ability to develop performance aware code
• Strong debugging skills
• A passion for state-of-the art gaming experience
