Recording Engineer – AudioWorks

Working within the Audioworks team, this individual must possess skills in recording, microphone techniques, advanced DAW management, editing, mixing and experience working directly with the talent in the booth.  The ability to communicate effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines while owning the quality of your work is a must. 

Specific tasks include:

• Submitting finalized audio assets on or before required deadlines
• Recording sessions with voice over talent
• Maintaining and organizing recording sessions 
• Working directly with Producers and Talent Directors
• Editing dialog sessions with specific production feedback

• Projecting confidence and technical savvy on behalf of the studio
• Maintaining a professional voice over studio
• Ability to take instruction and follow outlined protocols

 

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of Audio Production, Music Editing/Production or Bachelor’s degree in an audio-related program or equivalent studio recording experience
• Is proficient with modern audio creation equipment, software, and recording techniques, with a high level of proficiency in at least one DAW
• Skillful in PC/Mac operating systems and game consoles
• Knowledgeable in Excel
• Strong communication skills, written and oral

• Outstanding recording, mixing and listening skills
• Strong artistic and creative sensibilities, and strong technical thinker
