Position Title: Software Engineer II

Software Engineer II/III

Prerequisites:
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Able to deliver on tasks without considerable direction
-Proficiency in design, coding, debugging software
-Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills; solution oriented individual
-Remains focused, motivated and effective on all tasks through completion
-Operates and delivers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to meet high quality standards
-Demonstrates a desire to learn and grow professionally

Responsibilities:
-Create game features and systems
-Take full ownership of large features from conception to delivery
-Responsible for all aspects of feature development
-Define technical requirements, write technical design specifications
-Implementation of client, server and database code
-Testing, debugging and support of all code written

Requirements:
-6+ years programming experience
-Excellent C/C++ programming skills
-Object oriented design and programming concepts
-Knowledge of databases, SQL queries, database schema design. Comfortable with database concepts.
-Knowledge of client-server technology
-Understanding of professional software development methodologies, QA and testing approaches
-B.S. in Computer Science

Desirable skills:
-3-6 years games industry experience
-Familiarity with large game development and work flow
-Familiarity with common online gaming terminology and experience with online gaming
-Experience with .Net/C# programming.
-Experience with Java
-DB admin experience
