We have shipped Titanfall and Titanfall 2 to critical acclaim, and are currently hiring for our Star Wars ™, Titanfall, and Unannounced VR game development teams. We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Animator who will help provide vision through believable, compelling animation for our new AAA VR shooter game. We’re picturing someone who will help us create an immersive experience through remarkable animations and gameplay.
Games have evolved to the point that animators must be true storytellers rather than just technicians. We believe that animation breathes life into a game and that animation is a key part of defining the next generation of games, bringing about their most memorable moments: moments that gamers don’t simply sit back and watch, but moments that they live.

What you’ll do...
Help set the quality bar by creating awesome animations for AI systems, scripted in-game scenes, vehicles and environments.
Work with Motion Capture data in Maya when necessary.
Implement animations into the project’s engine with full ownership of your work.
Work with multiple departments such as Art, Design and Code to complete tasks. Communication is key to understanding how each discipline contributes to the asset.
Take animations from conceptualization to shipping.
Ideally, you will have...
3+ years professional game development experience, with at least 1 shipped title. Shipped AAA game(s) preferred. Prior experience on an FPS title is ideal.
A strong understanding of video game animation development.
Very strong keyframing ability. Ability to keyframe realistic human motion.
Self-direction and the ability to autonomously take animations from conceptualization to shipping.
Ability to critique your own work as needed. Do you have “the eye”?
Ability to handle critiques. The more feedback you receive, the more you can tailor your work towards what is best for the game.
Must be a strong team contributor. Sounds cliché, but it is very important to our success.
Must enjoy what you love. Animation!
Mastery of relevant software packages such as Maya.
Passion for making and playing games.
Experience with first person weapons and full body animations.
Motion Capture cleanup experience.
