The Opportunity Ahead:

As an Associate Data Analyst within our EA Studios Europe Quality Analytics team you will help analyse our operational data to improve our Quality Verification (QV) strategies. You will be a thoughtful and curious person who has a passion for diving into data to solve business problems. Your insights will influence how we build and verify the quality of our games and you will report to the Development Director of the project.

Your responsibilities as Associate Data Analyst:

  • Receive questions from clients, understand the questions, and figure out the data needed to find the solutions
  • Assemble data from multiple sources, conduct analysis, perform research, document and implement analytical solutions
  • Design and monitor essential metrics
  • Develop and maintain scripts and queries to import, clean, transform, and expand data
  • Build live data dashboards complete with user documentation
  • Perform quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency for the information being delivered
  • Present analysis conclusions to clients in a clear, understandable, and valuable way

Your profile:

  • Experience in a past similar role (internship and co-op experience accepted) ideally in a games testing environment
  • Good knowledge of data visualization software using tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Excel
  • Understand how data is stored in databases and can write fast and reusable SQL code to retrieve it
  • Good foundation of math and statistical knowledge including an understanding of probability, correlation, regression, and classification
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and look for new problems to tackle and new concepts to implement
  • Skillful communicator who is not afraid to ask questions and brings new insights to light
  • Professionalism in working with clients and working in a team environment
  • Able to work autonomously and to targeted deadlines with minimal oversight
