The commerce team develops one of the largest eCommerce platform to power hundreds of games played by hundreds of millions of gamers. The commerce platform provides foundation services to game studios including identity management, account, subscription, billing, payment, virtual currency, provisioning, entitlement, risk and fraud at 24x7 with 99.99% reliability.

Role overview

You will be a Software Engineer in Commerce Platform team who designs subscription management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work with program manager to understand business requirement and translate that into technical design which is reviewed by partner
  • You will help build architecture of subscription components, build and run large-scale distributed online services, billing payment system and large distributed database design
  • You will lead technical design and implementation of a feature
  • You will design underlying database schema and interface
  • You will implement high-quality code with comprehensive unit testing
  • You will be subject matter expert in the area
  • You will fix bugs raised from stabilization, integration and production
  • You will migrate legacy systems to the new platform
  • You will troubleshoot issues raised from production and resolve customer problems
  • You will evaluate and adopt technologies which improve the team efficiency and platform capability
  • You will review peer developer's code and provide constructive feedback to ensure consistency and quality of code
  • You will mentor junior engineers, new hires and interns
  • You will participate in hiring process

Qualifications:

  • Solid computer science background including Algorithm, Data Structure and Operation System
  • Fast-learner for the complexity system and new technologies
  • Passion about customer, partner and quality
  • Experience releasing commerce software product
  • Experience with design/architecture of a large component
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and new hires
  • Experience in live site troubleshooting
  • Deep Experience with C#/Java/C++ development
