The EAX team is driving the strategy and implementation of important projects for EA’s community of players to connect them to one another and to the games they love to play. These projects include: EA Access, our cross-platform subscription on Origin, PS4, Xbox One and soon on Steam: Origin, EA’s gaming service on PC; and a host of other consumer experiences and strategies to connect friends across platforms and within our games.

In your role as Sr. Product Manager, Healthy Play, you will lead the Healthy Play strike team, with a focus on creating a safe and fair place for everyone to play and work with each other. which means you will collaborate at scale with partners, building towards a future vision that you will help outline. As part of the broader Product Management team, you will be an important contributor to the EAX team, working remotely, but bringing together a team of that spans across the company. You will report to the Executive Producer that oversees all products within EAX. 

 

You’re someone with a track record for:

  • Establish product opportunities, align important partners, and promote the healthy play product vision across the company 
  • Apply your expertise in sustainable gaming to help guide and prioritize the Healthy Play roadmap
  • Lead a strike team that outlines the FY21, FY21 and FY23 Healthy Play priorities. 
  • Identify opportunities based on important competitors and prepare teardowns, SWOT analysis of leads in the health play space.
  • Guide the strike team to new player facing / business opportunities in the Healthy Play space. 
  • Work with business leaders and finance to provide Return on investment and business cases around new healthy play concepts 
  • Navigate complex relationships with partners together with business development to communicate priorities
  • Develop meaningful business relationships with studio teams and other partners to communicate status and guide adoption of healthy play priorities.  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Product management, program management, or related experience
  • Passionate about Healthy Play, Family Controls and creating a better gaming environment for our players. 
  • High empathy for players and the ability to decipher their needs around sustainable gaming (of all ages). 
  • Present and sell your vision to senior leaders upwards and across teams

 

You also bring the following skills or experiences to our team:

  • 7+yrs of product management experience
  • Familiar with all competitor products in the gaming industry
  • Communicative, brings together several disciplines, able to move fast and hold teams accountable to providing their areas of expertise
  • Bonus points if you’ve ever delivered a consumer-facing, parental or household management service. 

 

In a typical week, the Senior Product Manager of Healthy Play could be…

  • You will meet with important partners to determine Fy21 priorities, prioritize forward-looking programs, that belong on the roadmap, go through discovery and business assessments of all items that officially enter the roadmap, prepare executive summaries that share insight into progress, prepare presentations that can be used to align important partners, studios
