Position Title: Manager, Facilities

Scope of Position

This role will reside within EA’s Global Safety Physical Security & Business Resiliency Program and will be responsible for the design, creation, implementation, and ongoing administration of EA’s Business Continuity Program (BCP). This individual will work cross-functionally with stakeholder groups, to develop a scalable world-class business continuity framework, allowing EA to manage business risks at a global, regional, local, or site specific level, with an emphasis on supporting our employees and most critical business areas, when normal operations are at risk and while adhering to governance mandates and internal policies. This individual will also act as EA’s SME around BCP, providing program updates to EA Leadership as needed.

Key Accountabilities

  • Create strategy and provide direction in the development and execution of EA’s BCP
  • Identify and influence the adoption of business continuity best practices, as defined by EA’s culture and unique business needs
  • Create and own the business impact analysis process to determine program focus priorities
  • Help support the corporate incident management team (IMT) to effectively manage any crises and or incidents at a global, regional, or site-specific level
  • Develop a quarterly BCP training process including scope, schedule, and deliverables, helping to ensure business leaders and IMT success, when managing a crisis and or incident 
  • Create programs to assess and monitor vendor BC/DR compliance
  • Identify opportunities to improve the program, and maintain in a state of audit-readiness to support regulatory and partner requirements
  • Serve as owner of business continuity management-related materials including business continuity policies and standards
  • Support business units in the identification of critical processes and functions, formulation of responses to business disruptions, completion of business impact analysis (BIA) updates, and performance of ongoing maintenance and testing activities
  • Identify and when required, incorporate new business units, systems and processes into the business continuity program
  • Provide periodic reports on overall program status and effectiveness
  • Serve as primary interface for audit and regulatory review activities and prepare responses to audit and exam findings related to business continuity. Track and drive the resolution of all corrective action activity.
  • Manage business continuity service provider contracts and relationships

  • Understanding of differences in standards and culture across geographies and cultures

Professional Expertise/ Knowledge

  • Industry best practices and metrics defining operational performance
  • SME in program development
  • Strategic planning / program management in a corporate environment
  • Demonstrated experience in the design, creation, implementation, and administration of global projects/initiatives
  • Solid command of program components, with emphasis on global legal compliance.

Experience

  • 7-10 years in a similar role within a multi-national (corporate) organization
  • Prior experience managing teams assigned to multiple sites
