Graphic Designer (9-month contract) 

At EA, our mission is to inspire the world to play. On the Global Design team, we ignite the imaginations of players through excellent design strategy and craftsmanship. We are a diverse creative team responsible for branding and visual identity for a diverse portfolio of video games. While game studios are busy creating the latest titles, we the game to life through graphic design, motion design, marketing art, and more.

Reporting to the Art Director, our Graphic Designers design, document, and build design system work for a portfolio of games within EA's paid and owned channels.

You have experience building globally recognized brands in organizations that expect nothing less than A+ work. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working on style guides and creating simple solutions to complex design challenges.

Additionally, you are comfortable collaborating, adapting to an evolving industry and have practical knowledge of brand and digital design.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build and update style guides with a high level of refinement.
  • Design graphic devices, templates for social and retail channels and game logos.
  • Help build presentation decks for pitching creative work.
  • Create online/console assets for banner, email, social media, web landing pages, and in-game campaigns for both HD and Mobile titles.
  • Ensure that creative complies with brand, platform, and licensor guidelines and industry-standard specs.
  • Understand the importance of aligning the campaign narrative into every player touchpoint.
  • Help create internal EA projects

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of design experience at an agency or internal marketing team.
  • Experience designing assets for a strategic brief
  • Desire to create work for a variety of game titles, including brand, retail, paid and owned channels targeting a range of player audiences.
  • Present creative work to your team, absorb feedback in a positive manner, and implement changes.
  • Have an impressive portfolio reflecting strengths in design, typography, and layout.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe programs including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Passion for design and games!

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
