You'll report to Capital's General Manager.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Create and deliver on the product vision, core pillars and business objectives.
  • Working with the team and studio leadership, define the operational framework for product development, including development processes, production planning, status reporting, risk management, resource management and budgeting.
  • Drive the game’s production execution. Ensure that key developmental and production goals are met, and the game is built for live service excellence from the onset.
  • Proactively identify risks associated with meeting feature and release milestones; ensure steps are taken to address any risk to scheduled milestones
  • Lead all aspects of third party and outsourced development.
  • Ensure agreement on all aspects of product development and live service vision with external IP holder
  • Communicate with game and studio leadership to track the status of milestones and ensure deadlines are met
  • Work with Studio Finance to prepare accurate and reasonable project budgets and develop the game within that budget
  • Sell the vision of the game across EA and our industry, including interviews & meetings with the press, partner companies, EA executives, etc.
  • Incorporate a culture of data and analytics into the team from concept. Ensure strong partnership with design early and empower analytics and game product managers to help drive a data driven live service

What You’ll Need

  • 7+ years as a Game Producer, Product Manager, Game Designer, or other relevant discipline with progressive management accountabilities
  • 5+ years’ experience leading diverse, cross functional teams, including creative and engineering
  • 10+ years leading a team of between 4 to 7 direct reports
  • 5+ years of managing other managers
  • Multi-year experience leading successful teams of 30+ people
  • 5+ years with hiring and staffing accountabilities
  • Experience leading game with $50K daily revenue
  • 5+ years comprehensive P&L experience
  • 5+ years’ experience with Game Service Partners (e.g. marketing, central tech, other central services)
  • 2+ years overseeing published game titles, live services and game as a service/mobile
  • Track record leading successful game titles from concept through launch
  • Ability to partner with matrixed, internal resources
  • Understanding of development lifecycle stages
