Benefits Senior Manager – Global Retirement

EA is looking for a Benefits Program Manager to manage our Global retirement plans and support other benefits projects. This hands-on role is responsible for designing and implementing new/innovative offerings consistent with our overall benefit goals, providing education to our employees on our retirement plan offerings and overall financial wellness, ensuring the smooth operation of the plans, and providing other benefits project support as needed. You will report to the Director, Global Benefits.

Position Responsibilities:

Retirement Plan Management

  • Propose enhancements and manage the implementation and administration of EA’s U.S. and Canadian retirement plans.
  • Oversee global retirement and pension compliance and lead any international projects where pension schemes need to be altered to comply with local legislation
  • Ensure current retirement/pension plans are market-competitive in each country in which the EA operates
  • Establish partnerships with Legal, Payroll, Finance and other colleagues and lead cross-functional projects to implement new offerings and refine operations. Proactively identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Manage 401(k) and RRSP Retirement Plan Committees. Develop agendas, prepare and review materials, and participate in the meetings.
  • Develop communication content and plans to ensure effective promotion & understanding of retirement and broader financial wellness offerings/concepts.
  • Join virtually, the Pension Governance Meetings for specific international pension schemes
  • Monitor market practices, trends and requirements to ensure offerings remain highly competitive, fiscally responsible, and legally compliant. Recommend strategies which balance employee needs and company priorities.
  • Oversee annual compliance requirements including Form 5500 filings, audits and non-discrimination testing.
  • Manage relationships with retirement plan advisors and vendors, ensuring performance standards are met. Periodically market available services.
  • Provide guidance to Benefits team, HR operations team, and third-party vendors on plan administration responsibilities. Provide outstanding customer service for escalated employee needs.
  • Define and oversee periodic benefits data audits.
  • Be the project manager for multiple benefit initiatives
  • Lead and/or support other benefits projects and analyses as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 5-7+ years relevant experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian laws and requirements regarding retirement plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to bring programs from concept to successful implementation.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and good judgment.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, collaborative team member with excellent attention to detail and strong sense of urgency and follow through.
