Gameplay Software Engineer

We are looking for an accomplished Gameplay Software Engineer to join an experienced team of developers working on an exciting new mobile game. This is an opportunity for you to join a veteran team and help craft the vision and execution of a compelling, creative, and immersive experience. You will report to the our Technical Director and work with Designers, Artists and other Engineers to implement game systems

Expectations:

  • You will implement game features in collaboration with designers and artists
  • Work in a distributed team environment
  • Adopt and promote best practices
  • Provide quality code review feedback

Technical Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience
  • 5+ years of game development experience with 2+ years in a related role
  • Experience with Unity, C#, and mobile development for iOS and Android

Required Non-Technical Skills

  • Demonstrate dependability and focus on quality work
  • Ability and desire to work with other game developers in a cooperative team environment

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Typescript /Javascript
  • Avid gamer with a passion for creating top-quality games
  • 4x and strategy genre experience
