The Role

EA Seattle is looking for a Contract Artist / Generalist to join our successful and talented team. In this role, you will be helping the team to accomplish a variety of art goals from creating and integrating game assets, to developing compelling advertising materials that highlight our game.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with creating a variety of stylized 2D art for in-game assets, icons, UI, and marketing.
  • Capture and edit video footage of our product for marketing usage.
  • Work with the Art team to format videos and images for game submission and ads.
  • Engage with stakeholders during every phase of the production process.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Excellent digital Illustration skills
  • Experience in the creation of marketing assets for video games or interactive web content.
  • Must possess strong user interface, UX and graphic layout skills, painting, compositing as well as typographic sensibilities.
  • The ability to deliver work of a high standard while retaining accuracy when working with tight deadlines.
  • Video Editing and Motion Graphic skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • A love of video games will help!

Software

  • AfterEffects or similar compositing software
  • Photoshop and/or Illustrator

Pluses

  • 3D modeling and/or animation skills
  • Unity experience
