User Interface Scripter

Our Madden Mobile team is looking for a UI Scripter to join our user experience and design team to create a responsive design experience inside our game. You will focus on the implementation of established design specs using proprietary authoring tools at a high level of polish. You will need to be both visually creative and technologically experienced and have experience for creatively solving challenging problems.

Responsibilities:

• Build the UI and HUD elements within a AAA game
• Develop core UI components, screen flows, and general front-end systems
• Ensure understanding on all implementation of UI screens and assets
• Collaborate with the UI/UX team (artists and designers)
• Collaborate with Engineers to establish technical and data requirements
• Iterate and develop prototypes while following creative and art direction

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in User Interface Skinning and complied software programming
• Experienced in creating functional user interfaces using atomic design methods
• Experience coding languages such as C#, C++ or Java
• Adept in ActionScript (AS3), JavaScript or related language
• Ability to export and improve assets from Photoshop
• Willingness to learn proprietary production pipelines and workflows
• Enjoy working within tight technical restraints and improve assets to fit within guidelines
• You will quickly identify and debug issues

Bonus Skills:

• Experienced in scripting effects and animation
• Passion for Video Games and Sports
