We are EA Frostbite

We entertain millions of people across the globe by creating the most amazing and immersive interactive software in the industry. Making great experiences is challenging, which is why we employ creative and passionate people.

The challenge ahead

Frostbite is our technology platform for diverse game franchises, being used by thousands of developers to create experiences such FIFA, Battlefield, Star Wars Battlefront, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Need for Speed and Plant vs. Zombies Garden Warfare. To ensure our game makers can create fantastic experiences, they need high-quality tools which evolves over the years. This is where Frostbite Quality Assurance comes in.

We are looking for someone who will take ownership of a domain’s test strategy and execution. As an embedded Senior Quality Analyst, you will be a driver of the quality process and become adept in testing the engine, alongside associated in-house or 3rd party tools.

What a QA Analyst does at Frostbite

You will focus on identifying issues early in the development cycle, supported by in-depth knowledge of system design, implementation and integration. You will challenge our software by employing a variety of test methods (scripted, exploratory, destructive) to ensure the engine is functional, reliable, performant and highly usable.

Another essential part to success in this role is collaboration! Analysts are also important to the Frostbite Quality group, sharing insights, working on team-wide improvements and partnering with test engineers to identify automation opportunities.

What is Frostbite QA looking for?

  • Familiarity with common automation approaches including testing frameworks, unit tests, and automated functional tests
  • Partner with distributed teams across multiple locations
  • A desire to continuously learn and improve
