Our new game studio, composed of seasoned mobile developers, are tackling one of mobile's biggest genres with one of gaming's most powerful brands. Star Wars: Rise to Power is a 4x mobile title where all Star Wars fans can fight for their place as a Hero in the Galactic Wars, acquiring and deploying massive fleets of ships (from small stunt fighters to massive capital ships), iconic characters, and planetary bases, putting the galactic conflict directly into the Player's hands.

Our new Product Management, Data and Acquisition teams will be based out of EA's headquarters in Redwood Shores, and are composed of industry and genre veterans.  Our initial focus is Rise To Power, but extends to other unannounced titles. 

As a part of our team you will be helping us reimagine a Star Wars mobile product from the ground up. 

Sr Product Manager

We are looking for product managers that are passionate about games and empathetic to the needs of our players and developers. Strong team players who communicate clearly with an ability to negotiate and unite subject experts to take on complex problems. Product managers with an eye to technical and user experience best practices. With an unbound curiosity and learning to continuously improve understanding of the game, the player and the market at large. 

If you are proactive, creative and always backing your assertions with mathematical frameworks analytical rigor and when you can’t find the answer you test. This is the team for you.

Responsibilities

As a Sr Product Manager your first and foremost responsibility will be to identify and evaluate gaps/opportunities then realize through people, problem, goal focused product management. You will define, design and manage game features, content, and tools that further the overall strategic vision of the product and ultimately our Acquisition, Engagement, and Monetization efforts. Working with a complex in-game economy you will be translating product goals into measurable in game KPI’s. You will use quantitative insights to drive game and tools product design. You build products with metrics in mind by framing quantifiable success.

You will work closely with the game team and various stakeholders to gather requirements, form user stories, and define the product roadmap. Then in close collaboration with cross functional disciplines (data science and engineering, user acquisition, game design, UX, art, and operations) you will execute on the roadmap and goals. You will build rich relationships with leaders to ensure trust, clear communication, and collaboration. Working with technical partners to understand tradeoffs of decisions throughout development. Along with game design and analytics you will specify data requirements for tracking, reporting and automated optimization all with the overall product strategy in mind.

- 4 years+ game industry experience

- 2 years+ product management experience
- 2 years experience with quantitative frameworks and tools (python, tableau, excel)
- Product managed at least one full stack feature (backend, frontend/client, data, and CRM)
- Product managed at least one live game
- BS or equivalent
