Position Title: Associate Quality Designer

External Description:

PIN – Senior Quality Analyst

PIN is the central telemetry organization that builds and supports telemetry system for EA. The Senior Quality Analyst (SQA) will work closely with the different game and telemetry teams to identify, review and analyze telemetry data quality issues. The SQA will also provide technical insights and expertise to other QV teams in order to ensure quality test cases and testing.

 

What the Senior Quality Analyst does at EA:

 

Execution:

  • Review quality strategies from different QV teams for telemetry verification
  • Collaborate with QV teams on verification progress and provide reporting
  • Provide telemetry verification expertise and knowledge to QV teams
  • Triage automated telemetry testing reports to identify potential data quality issues
  • Identify new, creative methods to increase telemetry testing efficiency
  • Enhance existing telemetry quality processes
  • Conducts analysis using statistics, software, databases

  • Ability to communicate in a concise manner
  • Ability to escalate risks to the correct audience
  • Detailed oriented, ability to adapt the conversation as required
  • Maintain strong team communication and collaboration across different regions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders/partners to improve overall quality by emphasizing quality verification throughout the development lifecycle
  • Very good knowledge of team processes and the ability to translate it effectively
  • Ability to support peers through mentoring and knowledge sharing

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of experience with relational database and SQL
  • Good understanding of RESTful API a plus
  • Good understanding of software quality verification concepts, debugging processes and practices
  • Demonstrated analytical skills in root cause analysis
  • Strong ability to self-manage and prioritize work effectively within deadlines
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal outside supervision
